We work from your engineer's foundation design and handle the full scope: excavation coordination, piling, footing construction, slab preparation, steel placement, and concrete pour. Our crews are experienced with standard strip footings, pad footings, raft slabs, waffle pods, and pile-and-beam foundations. We also work on TC2 and TC3 foundation systems specified for Canterbury and other seismic zones.

What foundation type is best for my project?
The right foundation depends on the ground conditions, the structure above, and the engineering requirements. Your geotechnical report and structural engineer will specify the foundation system. We build to those specifications and can advise on construction methodology and sequencing to keep your project on programme.
Do you work on sites with poor ground conditions?
Yes. We regularly work on sites with challenging ground, including high water tables, expansive clays, and filled ground. We follow the engineered foundation solutions designed for these conditions, including piled foundations, ground improvement works, and specialised slab systems.
Can you handle the full foundation scope or just the concrete?
We handle the complete foundation package from excavation coordination through to the finished slab, including formwork, steel fixing, concrete placement, and finishing. We can also coordinate with your earthworks contractor and plumber to ensure services are in before the pour.
