Who We Are
NZ Construction Services is a New Zealand-based construction company operating across New Zealand and Australia. We specialise in concrete construction, formwork, foundations, retaining walls, and commercial building, with our crews delivering projects in Perth, Brisbane, and across NZ including Hamilton, Auckland, Bay of Plenty, and Hawkes Bay.
Our team is built from experienced tradespeople who have worked on a wide range of residential and commercial projects. We understand the realities of construction work: tight programmes, demanding specifications, and the need for crews that turn up ready to deliver every day. That practical, no-nonsense approach is at the core of how we operate.
We started with a simple premise: provide skilled, reliable construction crews that deliver quality work on time. That remains our focus today. Whether we are pouring a residential slab in Hamilton or deploying a team of twenty to a commercial site in Perth, the standard is the same. Our crews are experienced, certified, and site-ready from day one.

Our Story
NZ Construction Services was founded by Ruth Polaczuk, drawing on years of hands-on experience in the construction and labour hire industry.
We saw a gap: Australian builders needed dependable crews, and New Zealand had skilled tradespeople ready to work. So we built a business that connects the two — with a service model that takes the hassle out of cross-border labour hire.
We handle everything from recruitment and compliance to flights, accommodation, and project management. Our clients get a crew that shows up trained, certified, and ready to deliver.

Our Workforce
Our workforce includes experienced concrete workers, formwork carpenters, steel fixers, and general construction labourers. Every crew is led by a hands-on foreman who manages the work on site and maintains direct communication with project managers and engineers.
All of our workers hold current site safety certifications, and many hold additional trade qualifications and tickets. When we deploy crews to Australian projects, we ensure every worker has the required white card, work rights, and insurance before they step on site. We invest in our people because the quality of our work depends on the quality of the teams delivering it.
